about us
Joe Perdue – Owner
Joe is a native of Bremerton, WA and has been a PGA member since 1981. In 2010 Joe bought Hidden Meadows Golf Course (link to www.hiddenmeadowsgolf.com) in Old Town, Maine and established Hidden Meadows as the premier 9 hole course in northern Maine. With an expansive pro shop that has earned multiple fitters of the year awards from Mizuno, Joe’s product knowledge and customer focus has transferred to Alexander’s Golf Carts. Joe has been a lifelong fan (and critic) of the Mariners and Seahawks, and is a strong proponent for the return of the SuperSonics.
Rob Olsen – Co-Owner
Rob grew up in Fond du Lac, WI before moving to Old Town, Maine to help Joe operate Hidden Meadows. Rob has an extensive background in customer service and management. Rob holds a bachelor’s in American History from Southern New Hampshire University which was completed while running the front end at Hidden Meadows. Rob is a devout Green Bay Packers fan.
Trip – Chief Pupper Officer
Trip is a 10 month old black lab adopted from the Kitsap Humane Society that lives with Rob and Joe. His favorite things to do is chase the cat and chew on anything that will fit in his mouth. His primary focus at Alexander’s is to make sure that at the end of a busy day there’s always a happy wagging tail. Trip is paid in kibble, liver treats, and puppy cookies.
In Memorandum – Alex and Canoli
Our two beloved adopted in Maine in 2010. They were fond of running up and down the fairways, chasing things that they shouldn’t have (like porcupines) and bringing back the finest sticks that Maine had to offer. Canoli passed from bone sarcoma in December 2020, and Alex passed in 2021 from bone sarcoma. Both are missed by all those that knew them.
